A Short Drive

She sped along the curving road, darkness surrounding her, redwood trees towering overhead, blocking the moon. Beside her, the phone flashed with life, text messages flying across the screen. The road was too treacherous for even a glance.

But it wasn’t necessary. She knew who they were from, the very force drawing her car so quickly down that twisting highway.

Hi Donna, I'm thrilled to know you love my characters! Alexandra is definitely a unique individual. I expect to have the next Alex book out in May--The Woman In the Church. Thanks again for your comments. 🥰

Kathryn, I love the characters you create. One In particular, Alexandra Mallory is THE most interesting of any I have ever read. After reading almost all of your books, I find myself wanting more Alex. There is no other character like her in fiction. I love this sociopath/psychopath, beautiful, smart and dangerous woman.

When will we get more of Alex? I hope soon! I see myself in her. In some ways I am her when I am reading the series. I am so weird being on the side of a psychopath.

Love all your books!
