Run Faster
A Psychological Thriller Novella
What began as a friendly writers' group was supposed to produce stories, not corpses.
Six authors—five women and one man—meet each week to share pages, sharpen their craft, and cheer each other on. But everything changes when one member introduces a controversial new collaborator: Artificial Intelligence.
What starts as a heated debate over the role of AI in creative writing quickly fractures the group. Long-buried rivalries surface. Jealousies ignite. Secrets are exposed. Trust evaporates.
Then, fiction becomes reality.
As suspicion falls on everyone, the writers discover that the deadliest story isn't the one they're working on—it's the one they're living.
In a world where words can deceive and technology blurs the line between creator and creation, one question remains:
Who will write the final chapter... and who will survive to read it?
What readers are saying:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
"What I love about Cathryn Grant’s writing is that she never sacrifices humanity for the idea. The writers’ group premise is sharp, the tension builds beautifully, and the story genuinely made me think, but it never feels like a lecture. There’s something rare about Grant’s writing that makes me feel understood and a little less alone in the way I look at the world. Smart, relevant, deeply human and wonderfully written. I absolutely loved it. A must-read." --Thriller Bookie
"...everyone needs to read this book" --GoodReads Reviewer
